Do Dogs Sweat?

It is common for dogs to breathe fast with their mouths by dangling their tongues out to keep the body temperature rising after intense activity or in extreme hot weather. In this way, it is not difficult to guess that dogs are trying to cool off. On the other hand, it is a condition that even people who are not interested in dogs very much cannot easily imagine that their fur gets wet as a result of the sweating of the dogs. In this case, some questions immediately come to mind.

 Merocrine Glands:

These glands found in the pads of your dog’s paws are the most similar to human sweat glands. When your pet gets too hot and needs to be ventilated, it sweats between your feet.

 Apocrine Glands:

While these are technically sweat glands, dogs use them as a form of social interaction. Dots all over her body emit pheromones that our pets use to identify each other.
